Personalised Education, Employment and Enterprise Pathways' (PEEEPs) is part of the Youth Employment Initiative (YEI), a package of measures designed to deal with high levels of youth unemployment.
PEEEPs is for young people aged 15-29 years who are unemployed or inactive in education, employment or enterprise; and who are unlikely to achieve success using only mainstream services.
Our PEEEPs projects tackle barriers to participation; give young people the tips, techniques and tools to develop their interests, talent and skills; and help them take ownership of their pathway into education, employment and enterprise. We offer personalised end-to-end support for all young people.
The Projects are:
- Reducing the Skills Gap
- OnRoute Digital
- Enterprise Ambition
- Girls UnLtd
The Youth Employment Initiative is part-funded by the European Social Fund as part of the 2014-2020 European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme in England. The Department for Work and Pensions is the Managing Authority. We are a delivery partner for the Hartlepool Borough Council lead YEI and lead a partnership of local PEEEPs providers.

Belle Vue Centres keen interest in expanding its services and reaching out to communities allows us to grow and tender for wider projects across town both internally and within a partnership.
Brian Baines - NEET Coordinator
I have worked at the Belle Vue centre since June 2015 as a part-time outreach worker, and NEET Coordinator. As part of this initiative we have helped a number of unemployed people gain employment, training and education, I work very closely with Claire Ashley and the project is going from strength to strength.
I have a qualification in teaching (PTTLS), a Level 3 in Health and Social Care, Level 3 in Youth Work, Level 3 in Counselling, a Level 4 in Information, Advice and Guidance, and finally a Level 4 in Parenting Qualifications.
Professionally I have over 12 years’ experience working with parents and their children. The areas I've worked in are anger management, drug and alcohol work, sexual health and many others. I've supported pupils in both primary and secondary schools doing one to one work and also group work. I've also been a support worker for people with special needs and learning disabilities. I also have a huge amount of personal life experience, that I can often fall back on and take inspiration from.
My greatest achievement to date is running with the Olympic torch in 2012. It was one of the proudest days of my life and something I will never forget. I got the chance to do this because of my fundraising efforts.
