Meet the Reception Team
As the first point of contact and the ‘face’ of Belle Vue Centre our aim is for people to feel welcomed & well looked after so that they leave with the best impression, spread the word that we deliver an excellent service in a friendly environment and then to return and keep on returning.
Fair to say, with the diverse range of services & activities on offer, there are never two days the same and the ability to communicate on many levels, be welcoming and friendly, firm when required, able to remain calm in stressful situations and have a sense of humour are attributes the team possess and put into practice to make our working day and the service we offer be the best it can be. Behind the scenes, we also carry out lots of other Admin & Clerical duties, often working alongside other staff and departments, making the Reception desk a very busy but enjoyable place to work.
Our team consists of four Reception/Admin ladies, all town residents, who between us have an accumulated and impressive 43yrs service and are able to offer a wealth of knowledge and experience not only of the job role but also the town and especially the local area and its residents.
We aim to provide a friendly, approachable service to anyone who walks through the door, and if we are unable to meet the needs of a customer we will happily direct them to someone who can.
We work on a weekly rota so tend to cover the same shifts each week which enables us to build up a good rapport with our regular customers, but also cover extra shifts if one of us is on holiday or sick leave.
