Belle Vue Community Sports & Youth Centre

We are the Bob Farrow Centre

We have been providing community services from our Centre in Kendal Road, Hartlepool since 1985. We began providing facilities for sport with from a sports hall and a small exercise room and a community room from which we provided activity for children and young people. In 2002 we secured funding from New Deal for Communities and the European Regional Development Fund to extend our centre and today we provide a range of services to provide activity and support to people of all ages from across Hartlepool and beyond. In this website we describe the services and facilities we now offer. We are always open to suggestions on how we can improve what we do and additional services we could offer. If you have any good ideas please let us know

Our Vision and Mission with Key Objectives

Little Treasures Day Nursery

The nursery operates from two bright and airy rooms based on the ground floor of the Belle Vue Centre, making the nursery accessible to children and families. Good Early Years Education along with safety and security are our top priorities with our nursery being installed with CCTV and fully secured by a digital lock. The nursery is fully registered with OFSTED and works within the local Authority.

We are a smaller, closer feel nursery allowing us the time to get to know your children on a more personal level which is why our parents have chosen Little Treasures Nursery

The Belle Vue Centre has built up a good reputation over many years working with children and their families, so by choosing Little Treasures Day Nursery you can be sure of a professional, caring and experienced provider.

More about Our Nursery Services

Youth Club Activites

The Belle Vue Centre offers activities and support for children and young people aged 5 – 19 years. The service is both open access (welcoming children from different areas in Hartlepool) and also on a referral basis. Referrals are made from Social Care, Schools and any other agencies across the town.

The activity sessions hope to engage children and young people in Art, Dance, Drama and Sports as a means of diverting them from antisocial behaviour and getting them focused on positive activities. We aim to help children develop their self-confidence and social skills, make new friends, gain new experiences and learn new skills.

All our youth workers have youth work qualifications or an equivalent, have child protection and first aid qualifications and work within strict policies and guidelines.

Residents Meetings

The Belle Vue Residents’ Association hold regular meetings in the Centre where local residents meet with agency representatives and decision makers to raise their issues and get involved in the processes that affect them. Meetings normally include representatives from the Police, local ward councillors, Hartlepool Council and Housing Association officers and a variety of guest speakers. It is also a good opportunity to find out what is going on at the Centre. Please contact the Bob Farrow Centre to find date and time for next residents meeting.
