Welcome to Belle Vue Community Sports & Youth Centre's Website. The Centre was founded in 1985 to provide a facility for the residents and young people of the Belle Vue Estate. Through hard work and dedication of a management group made up of local residents, the Centre quickly developed a reputation of delivering quality services to the people of Hartlepool.
In 2001/2 the Hartlepool New Deal for Communities Regeneration Programme and the European Regional Development Fund granted more than £2 million to extend the Centre and create the first class facility that exists today.
A Community Centre, providing a base for local residents to come together to gain access to information, advice and guidance to enable them to deal with social, economic and community issues that concern them.
A conference facility, is available to allow up to 200 delegates to attend meetings, seminars and events, equipment to support these events are also available for hire.
A Sports Centre, facilities are available for 5-A-Side, badminton, basketball, volleyball, netball and other sports. A fitness suite containing a range of cardiovascular and strength building machines, and a dance studio are also available for hire.
A Youth Centre, Belle Vue Centre is acknowledged by statutory and community partners as a provider of high quality activity and outreach services to support young people both within the centre and in other locations.
A Training Centre, the Centre is a training venue and its training division delivers high quality training both on and off site covering subjects of First Aid, Food Safety, Sports Leadership, Health and Safety, Site Safety Passport and Sports Leadership and other subjects. Training rooms equipped with appropriate equipment are available for hire.
A Cafeteria, the Key Cafe is open daily providing quality freshly produced hot and cold meals and refreshments.
